The Power of Viniyoga

Viniyoga is a style of yoga that focuses on individual adaptation and breath-centered movement. Rather than encouraging students to force different stretches, viniyoga is a practice rooted in adapting to the needs and abilities of each practitioner.

This approach was developed by T.K.V. Desikachar and emphasizes the connection between breath and movement. In this practice, breathing is used as a guide to help students explore their range of motion and find stability in each posture. Classes combine flowing movement with breathing exercises to cultivate mindfulness, strength, and flexibility in a safe and supportive environment.

Jamye incorporates her deep understanding of the body, stretching, and releasing tension to provide a productive and mindful session.
